How to Download and Install PowerInspect 2015
PowerInspect 2015 is a legacy version of the 3D measurement software that provides programming capabilities to help monitor and control quality. It is compatible with a wide range of measurement equipment, including coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), portable arms, laser trackers, and optical devices.
If you need to download and install PowerInspect 2015, you will need the following:
The installation file. You can download it from this link [^2^].
A dongle security key (USB). This is a physical device that plugs into your computer and allows you to run the software.
A PAF file. This is a license file that contains your product information and activation code.
Note: There is no longer any way of generating/obtaining new/replacement PAF files or dongles. If you lose or damage them, you will not be able to use PowerInspect 2015.
To install PowerInspect 2015, follow these steps:
Insert the dongle security key into a USB port on your computer.
Run the installation file and follow the instructions on the screen.
When prompted, browse to the location of your PAF file and select it.
Complete the installation process and restart your computer if required.
Launch PowerInspect 2015 and enjoy!
If you encounter any issues during the installation or activation process, you can contact Autodesk Technical Support for assistance. You can also check out this article [^2^] for more information on how to install PAF files for former Delcam products.
